TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That should round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
